Are you a tax wizard who loves staying up-to-date on the latest regulations and enjoys working with mid-sized companies, high net worth individuals, nonprofits, and financial services? Then listen up, because we’re looking for a driven and organized individual to join our growing firm as a Tax Manager!
Since 2004, our CPA firm has been growing at lightning speed and we’re not slowing down anytime soon. We work with mid-sized companies, high net worth individuals, nonprofits, and financial services who value our unique approach to problem-solving – we literally put ourselves “In Your Shoes” to understand your goals on a deeper level.
But enough about us, let’s talk about YOU. As our Tax Manager, you’ll be responsible for reviewing federal, state, sales & use, franchise, and property tax returns – even the more complex ones. You’ll also need to be a research whiz, staying on top of a broad range of tax issues at the federal, local, and international levels. And if that’s not enough, you’ll also need to have excellent project management skills and be able to meet deadlines within agreed-upon budgets.
But here’s the thing – we’re not just looking for someone who’s good with numbers. We’re looking for someone who’s a team player, has a professional attitude, and can represent our firm brand with pride. You’ll need to be able to give and receive constructive feedback, exercise professional humility, and have a good sense of humor (because we like to have fun around here).
And don’t worry, we’re not just throwing you into the deep end. We’re dedicated to your professional development and will provide you with all the training, tools, and resources you need to advance in your career. Our comprehensive plan outlines the necessary technical and soft-skills that enable all staff to take ownership over their career progression. Plus, we’re a team of passionate professionals who are excited about helping our clients and employees develop and achieve their potential.
Now, before you apply, here’s what we need from you. You’ll need a BS in Accounting and be a CPA. You should have at least 5 years of relevant tax experience, with a minimum of 2 years reviewing tax returns. And if you’re selected for follow-up, comprehensive technical testing and background checks will be performed.
Oh, and did we mention the benefits? We offer a competitive salary, opportunities for growth within our firm, and a chance to become one of our future leaders. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the table!
So, if you’re ready to take your tax expertise to the next level and work with a team of fun-loving professionals who are excited to help you grow, then we want to hear from you! Apply now and let’s make some tax magic happen.
